Great hotel if you want to stay overnight before your flight from Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN). Hotel is very near to the S-Bahn (Train) station (Frankfurter Str.) and it takes ca. 5 mins by walk from S-Bahn station to hotel. From S-Bahn station Frankfurter Str., it takes 8 minutes (just 1 stop) to the CGN airport. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Check-in was unproblematic and fast. Even though the rooms were small, they had all the required basic amenities.

Urva

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking on site with surveillance cameras. The hotel is quiet at night. The hotel is approximately a five (5) minute walk from a train station which is roughly a 15 minute train ride to downtown Köln. Last but not least, there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken within a few minutes walking distance from the hotel.

Candler

A nice breakfast and a good out-of-town quiet location to stay for a day visit to Cologne city using the nearby rail link at Frankfuirterstrasse station. The hotel is located in an light-industrial area near to a KFC fast food restaurant. It's also very close to the autobahn network but sufficiently far away to not hear traffic noise.

We needed a cheap place to stay (before moving-on to central Cologne the following morning) as the only flight we could get arrived at 23:00. This was the perfect choice - reasonably priced, manual check and very good comminication for doing so via email from the very helpful staff. Rooms were clean & tidy. Breakfast was good.
